My Transport Opinion

This my story about my daily activities in transportation. Well, everyday I use my motorcycle to travel from my home to my college, University ofGadjahMada Yogyakarta. In Indonesia, a motorcycle is a common transportation, everybody used it, maybe about 60% of Indonesian peoples transportation is a motorcycle I think. I got my driving license when I was in a juniorhigh school, I used to drive my motorcycle to school everyday, a few months ago I took a private car driving lesson in a certified driving schools in my city, it takes several days before I can drive my own car smoothly. Thank God, there's no mistake or accident when I take the driving lesson. My driving schools also give a backdoor access for their student to receive a driving license. This is a bad side of my city, actually some province in my country have the same bad habits. You can obtain the driving license with an illegal way. After the private lesson ended, the driving schools always propose us to take the driving license or not and the illegal ways cost a little bit higher than the legal way. In the illegal ways, you just take a photograph in Police office then our driving license is done in just a few minute. In the legal ways you have to take a written test and driving skill test, and people usually fail in the driving skill test because it`s hard or maybe the police itself wants us to take the illegal ways, so they can get an extra money. That just my bad opinion, I hope the police officer didn`t do it. I didn`t take their illegal driving license proposal, I better take the legal ways to obtain my driving license, maybe it`s hard. But I`ll do my best.

This is just a little story about transportation here in Indonesia, black and white side, I hope ten government will makes a good regulation about transportation, about the driving license, there`s a lot of things to do for the government to make our country transportation better than before. The transportation itself give advantages to many people, they can start their own driving schools, or maybe some kind of business about motor, like buy and sell, repair center or modification center. Indonesia is a big country with a big problem in transportation, I just hope in the next five years everything will be better here in Indonesia.
