When I was seven years old my dad had been driving up a hill. A lorry

When I was seven years old my dad had been driving up a hill. A lorry had come down the hill and there it had a crash. My mum and my younger sister had been taken to hospital. My dad hadn't been injured and I had broken both my arms plus my left leg. It had taken me eight weeks to get better. My mum came out of the hospital but my sister stayed there for three months. All that put me off learning to drive. I got given a bike for my birthday when I was fourteen. I cycled to and from school.
When I was seventeen most of my friends learned how to drive. I had been left out. I was so afraid after the awful crash that I had experienced. I got a job in a flower shop in town four miles from home. I had to cycle there along a busy road and then through a village before I reached the town. My sister, Lorna, began learning to drive when she got to seventeen years. I felt that I was a failure because I hadn't got the courage to learn to drive.
Lorna did her theory test a month after she began her driving lessons. Her instructor had been really pleased with her progress. She had passed her practical driving lesson two and a half months later. Her boyfriend, Dominic, had given her a car for her eighteenth birthday. I helped her choose an insurance policy for it. She told me that I should consider learning with one of the automatic driving schools. She showed me three different automatic driving schools in the telephone directory.
When Lorna was nineteen she announced that she and Dominic were going to get engaged. I was twenty one and I hadn't got a boyfriend or even learned to drive. I remembered what Lorna had said about trying to learn to drive with one of the automatic driving schools. I looked up automatic driving schools on the Internet and found that The Magical Automatic Driving Schools Consortium had an automatic driving school in my area. I gave them a call and they said I could begin lessons on the Saturday.
Saturday was a nerve racking day for me. It was scary to get in the automatic car and my instructor, Tom, showed me it had duel controls. He said I could put it in 'D' for drive and off I went slowly along the road. I got used to the steering quite quickly. Over the next five months I continued learning to drive. I was amazed to pass my practical driving test. Now I am looking and hoping to find the man of my dreams.
